Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

Prompt: A metaphor I would use is the mind is a clear lake, its surface smooth and bright. I would use this metaphor because that's been how I've been feeling since the school year has started. It perfectly describes how my mind is right now. Sooner or later it will probably be more chaotic though. Summary: Today, we analyzed and answered questions on a poem. Reflection: Today I learned how to analyze a poem.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Prompt: An adventure I would like to go is to go backpacking with friends in Europe. I want to do this so I can experience the different cultures there. I would also want to experience the different cuisines as well. The reason I would want to do it the most is because it would be something different that I'm doing with my friends. I actually might do it next year after I graduate. Summary: Today, we presented, took notes, read a poem, and answered questions about the poem. Reflection: Today, I learned how to analyze poems.

Describe something you will never fully understand.

Prompt: Something I don't fully understand is how people don't fully invest in themselves. I don't understand this because I would think that they would want to have a productive future with a good paying job. It makes no sense to me how some people could just live their life without setting up their future ahead of them. Or at least working on themselves to where they would be okay without their parents. Just some thoughts man. Summary: Today, we presented our original myth posters to the class. Reflection: I learned how to present correctly in front of a class.

Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Prompt: Something I wish I had more of is time. I wish I had more time because every time I get home I never have enough time to do everything I need to do. It make a lot of things easier for me. Especially since basketball is starting back up. I would be able to get way more sleep which would make me more productive doing the day. Summary: Today, I worked on my poster on Adobe Express. Reflection: I learned how to add features to a poster on Adobe Express.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt:  The most creative thing I've ever made is  probably this art piece I made in 8th grade for Art class. It was a man falling through the sky while looking at the sun. The context of the picture was a man falling out of an airplane that broke apart. What makes the picture so good in my opinion is that you can see all of the emotion in the man's face. You can see his sorrow, his regret, and him wishing he could have lived more. All I can say is I was an artist back in the day. Summary: Today, you showed us how to use Adobe Express and we finished up on our original myth story. Reflection: I learned how to create a poster for original myth story.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Prompt: Two burning questions I have are why does everyone feel the right to lie. The second question is why is it so easy for someone to do something bad when they had a good life. The first question matters to me because sometimes I notice that a person is lying to me and it doesn't make sense because if they were honest from the start I would be good. The reason the second question matters to me is because I have family members who have had good life's until they got caught doing something dumb. Causing their life to have a down spiral, which doesn't make sense to me because why would you do that. Summary: We worked on creating our own origin myth. Reflection: I learned how to create my own original myth.
