The source suggests that the war against Iran is a distraction to draw attention from ice deporting people from the U.S. The cartoonist wants the audience to question the war against Iran. They also want the audience to question the big beautiful bill. Summary: We worked on finding information in text. Reflection: I learned about finding information in text.

 Prompt: Creating specific search phrases is different from just googling a topic because it gives you more valuable information related to your topic. Also gives you sites that are more credible than Google. This will improve the quality of my research because the information I find will be more credible and valuable than what I find on Google. Summary: We worked on a Commonlit assignment. Reflection: I learned how to identify main and central ideas.

 Prompt: What makes the topic of population growth difficult to answer is finding credible information about it. Two different factors to this topic is lower developing countries having increasing population growth rates and how population growth affects the economy.  Understanding multiple view points about population growth is important because it gives people the full view of a situation going on so they won't be biased. Summary: We find out what our research paper was gonna be about and brainstormed on it. Reflection: I learned more about population growth.

 Prompt: Challenges that I faced while researching were that my sources were unreliable and they were vague on the topic. I handled them by taking my time to find the proper credible websites. Those experiences will help influence the way I approach this current project by me taking my time to find credible information. Summary: We answered questions about population growth before we started researching. Reflection: I learned about population growth.

 Prompt: I would go to Orlando for five days, and I would bring 6 friends with me. We would go out to eat, go to Volcano Bay, and walk on the beach for about two days. Then the next day we would go to Universal Studios for the entire day. After that the next day we would go to Lego Land. Then the next day would be a chill day where we just explored Orlando. Summary: We did a Commonlit. Reflection: I learned about heightening the benefits of a college.

 Prompt: Chris's desire for his independence contributed to his death because when he got sick from the mold on the fruit, there was no one to help him because he was all alone. This reminds of a time when I wanted to plan my birthday party when I was younger. Things went well but I did face challenges that made me realize that I should've worked with my mom more. Summary: We finished the Into the Wild movie. Reflection: I learned about how Chris's journey ended.

 Prompt: The movie deepened my understanding of Chris by showing us more of his motivations as he was drunk. This scene isn't book but it is a good scene because it explores Chris motivations for wanted to be alone in the wild further. This also reminds of a time when someone in my class was talking bad about someone they didn't like, until a few weeks later I met the person they were talking about and they were nothing like the person had described them. This showed me that the person in class was a bad judge of character. Summary: Watched part of the Into the Wild movie and answered questions about it. Reflection: I learned more about Chris's goals.
