If I could compose a poem about one aspect of life it would be about Basketball. It would be about Basketball because basketball has been a significant part of my life for about 5 years now. My overall life message would be to keep working hard no matter what anyone says. I made this my overall life message because while I've been playing a lot of people talked down about me and I had to work through it.

Summary: Today, we worked on matching songs with Dickinson's poems.

Reflection: I learned how to identify themes and messages in literature.
