Of today’s 15 vocabulary words, which three do you think you will use the most in your speaking and writing this semester? Explain why each word feels useful or powerful to you.

 Prompt: The three words I feel like I will use the most is Adroit, Aegis, and Aesthetic. I would use these words a lot while writing over the semester. I also think I will use these words while speaking because I knew these words beforehand. These words feel useful to me because I see myself using these words the most.

Summary: We took notes on the steps in the writing process.

Reflection: I learned how about the writing process and how to format a body paragraph.

 prompt: If I could describe how I show love using only three objects I would use a gift, a playlist, and a long text message. I would say a gift because I show love through giving gifts. I would say a playlist because I listen to a lot of songs that reflect how I feel about someone. I would say a long text message because I send long text messages to articulate myself to other people. Summary: We wrote a poem for loved ones. Reflection: I learned about appreciating my loves more.

 Prompt: A time I heard a word from lesson two outside of the classroom was when my teacher in 7th grade was talking about how the lands in Southeast Asia were arable. She used the word to show that you could plant crops on the land. The way she said it really made it easy to understand.  Summary: We worked on exercise 1, then did our blog post. Reflection: I learned the meaning of 15 new words.
