Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

 Prompt: The aspect I enjoy the most of creating a poem is picking which two things i'm going to compare. I enjoy this the most because I'm able to compare something important in my life to my actual life. It's fun thinking about things in basketball I can use to reference real life. I'm excited for my poem its coming along well.

Summary: Today, we learned about literal and figurative language, and worked on making a poem.

Reflection: I learned how to make a poem.

 Prompt: Something meaningful that I experienced over the break was being able to spend time with my family. I felt most thankful for the time I spent with them. The reason I felt really thankful for the time was because with my usual schedule with Basketball and School. I don't usually have time to spend with them after a school day. I was really happy we all got to spend time together over the break. Summary: I wasn't here. Reflection: I learned 15 new words.

 Prompt: A time I heard a word from lesson two outside of the classroom was when my teacher in 7th grade was talking about how the lands in Southeast Asia were arable. She used the word to show that you could plant crops on the land. The way she said it really made it easy to understand.  Summary: We worked on exercise 1, then did our blog post. Reflection: I learned the meaning of 15 new words.
