you are currently working on a soundtrack for selected Emily Dickinson poems. With that in mind, if asked to choose a song to describe your life right now, which song would you select and why?

 Prompt: A song I would use is "8am in Charlotte" by Drake. I would use this song because right now, i'm working hard before the basketball season. I feel like this song really represents my everyday life. I'm also working hard in various things like school work to make sure I have all A's and working hard to become homecoming prince.

Summary: Today, in class had a assessment, then after we reviewed it, and worked on class work from the previous day.

Reflection: I learned what  a slant rhyme was.

 Prompt: Something meaningful that I experienced over the break was being able to spend time with my family. I felt most thankful for the time I spent with them. The reason I felt really thankful for the time was because with my usual schedule with Basketball and School. I don't usually have time to spend with them after a school day. I was really happy we all got to spend time together over the break. Summary: I wasn't here. Reflection: I learned 15 new words.

 Prompt: A time I heard a word from lesson two outside of the classroom was when my teacher in 7th grade was talking about how the lands in Southeast Asia were arable. She used the word to show that you could plant crops on the land. The way she said it really made it easy to understand.  Summary: We worked on exercise 1, then did our blog post. Reflection: I learned the meaning of 15 new words.
