You’ve been in American Literature for 4.5 weeks now. How has the class been going for you so far?

 Prompt: This class has been going pretty good. The previous weeks before, I wasn't really locked in. I had some time to think over the week over what type of student I wanted to be and it really helped. So I would say pretty good so far. Excited for the next few weeks in this class.

Summary: We analyzed 3 poems and also started working on this assignment where we match songs with the poem.

Reflection: Today, I learned how to use the world play of a poem to help me analyze it.

 Prompt: Something meaningful that I experienced over the break was being able to spend time with my family. I felt most thankful for the time I spent with them. The reason I felt really thankful for the time was because with my usual schedule with Basketball and School. I don't usually have time to spend with them after a school day. I was really happy we all got to spend time together over the break. Summary: I wasn't here. Reflection: I learned 15 new words.

 Prompt: A time I heard a word from lesson two outside of the classroom was when my teacher in 7th grade was talking about how the lands in Southeast Asia were arable. She used the word to show that you could plant crops on the land. The way she said it really made it easy to understand.  Summary: We worked on exercise 1, then did our blog post. Reflection: I learned the meaning of 15 new words.
