Describe a time when you needed distance from a situation, place, or group of people in order to think more clearly or gain perspective. What did that experience teach you about yourself?

 Prompt: A situation when I needed space from a group in order to gain a new perspective was when I did a different aau team than all of my friends. It made me realize I didn't like Basketball like that. I realized this because when I was by myself I couldn't push myself to do the work I needed to do. I also realized how much further along I would've came if I stuck to doing that though.

Summary: We read chapter two and answered questions about it.

Reflection: I learned about the themes of the book.

 Prompt: Something meaningful that I experienced over the break was being able to spend time with my family. I felt most thankful for the time I spent with them. The reason I felt really thankful for the time was because with my usual schedule with Basketball and School. I don't usually have time to spend with them after a school day. I was really happy we all got to spend time together over the break. Summary: I wasn't here. Reflection: I learned 15 new words.

This reminds of a time when I wanted to plan my birthday party when I was younger. Things went well but I did face challenges that made me realize that I should've worked with my mom more. Summary: We finished the Into the Wild movie. Reflection: I learned about how Chris's journey ended.
