 Prompt: The topic that challenged me the most when finding my identity was finding my identity. It challenged me the most because I have no idea what I want to do in the future. It also challenged me because sometimes I feel like I don't know who I am. I worked through this challenge by asking my teacher about it.  Summary: We worked on our project.  Prompt: Through writing similes and metaphors about my experiences I realized how much I've had to face. It's made me more thankful for the challenges I have overcome. It made more thankful for the life I have. It also made me look forward to what is in the future. Summary: I was absent. Reflection: I was absent.

 Prompt: I mostly hung out with friends over the break. Our hang outs mostly consisted of going to the gym and getting something to eat after. It definitely helped me reset because before the break started I was burnt out with school work. I also had work that I had to do over the break but I didn't do it, I just enjoyed my break. I don't regret doing it, this was probably the best break I had all school year. Summary: We analyzed a poem in class. Reflection: I learned more about similes and Metaphors.

 prompt: If I could describe how I show love using only three objects I would use a gift, a playlist, and a long text message. I would say a gift because I show love through giving gifts. I would say a playlist because I listen to a lot of songs that reflect how I feel about someone. I would say a long text message because I send long text messages to articulate myself to other people. Summary: We wrote a poem for loved ones. Reflection: I learned about appreciating my loves more.

 Prompt: This experience has made my confidence as a writer grow significantly because I know how to plan out what I am going to write. Even with things like Rhetorical devices like in step 2. The main step that really made my confidence as a writer grow was step 3 because it makes everything so clear for when you're about to write. Summary: We typed our rhetorical analysis essay.  Prompt: Step three helped me understand the process more clearly. It helped me because we put three bullet points with each Rhetorical device basically telling us what to put in our paragraphs. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about

Prompt: A perfect day with someone I care about would start out with us going to the aquarium. Staying there for about 2 hours after we would walk around the city. Then, we would get something to eat from Raising Canes. After this, we just chill and watch a movie. Summary: We worked on Rhetorical analysis essay planning guide. What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

 Prompt: the best piece of advice a parent has ever given me was when my mom told me to stop hurting myself trying tom help other people. She told me this because at the time I was doing a lot for this person that I liked, and it was messing me up in the process. At first, I didn't realize how much I needed it till I started using it. Since I've started using her advice I have been able to improve myself in many different ways. Summary: We worked on analyzing a poem. Reflection: I learned about how poems use different ways to reflect real life.

What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

 Prompt: The most challenging part of working in a group is working with lazy members. One time a group assignment did not go as well as I planned was when me and my group worked together on a project for Biology, my freshmen year. It didn't go well because two out of the four members were lazy. Me and the other member who was productive just did all of the work not wanting to get a bad grade. I learned that I have to communicate better and involve every member of the group making sure everyone does the same amount of work. What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you plan to overcome this challenge?

 Prompt: The most challenging part of writing an essay is writing a strong thesis. It's hard because I don't have a lot of creativity. I plan to overcome this by properly brainstorming and organizing ideas. As well is getting super thorough when making my claim. Summary: We wrote a Rhetorical Analysis Body Paragraph, then did our blog post. Reflection: I learned how to write a Rhetorical Analysis Body Paragraph.

Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

 Prompt: A point in my life that feels like the beginning of a powerful story is right now. It feels like the beginning because right now I have to choose between doing an aau team with my old coach or joining an aau team with my friends. I know joining the team with my friends is just a comfort and I may not even grow better from it. It feels like a turning point because if I join the team with my old coach, I feel like I may be able to grow my skills significantly preparing me for the senior season. Summary: I wasn't at school that day. Reflection: I wasn't at school.
